Job summary

The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (PA or NP) to join the Endocrine Surgery team at Clearfork, Fort Worth. The APP will support preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care across clinic, OR, and telehealth settings.

Eligible candidates hold ARC-PA accredited PA programs or nursing master’s degrees and Texas licensure with ACLS. Role includes travel to UT Southwestern locations for cross-coverage and training.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program or a Master’s degree in nursing with applicable licensure.
• Certification as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Nurse with Texas licensure.
• ACLS certification as per UT Southwestern policy.

Responsibilities

• Conducts and documents comprehensive initial and ongoing physical examinations based on age and diagnosis.
• Synthesizes data and develops, implements, and evaluates the plan of care including labs and imaging.
• Demonstrates proficiency in technical/procedural skills relevant to endocrine surgery.
• Provides management, referrals, counseling, and education to patients and families.
• Collaborates in research projects and applies evidence-based practices to patient care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
