Job summary

Vertex Pharmaceuticals Inc. seeks a pediatric or adult endocrinologist to contribute clinical expertise to the development of atumelnant and other programs.

You will serve as Medical Lead for Vertex clinical trials, guiding strategy, design and execution across multiple phases with cross-functional teams. The role requires MD/DO, board certification or eligibility, and ~10 years in basic or clinical research or trials, plus biostatistics and GCP knowledge.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent medical degree is required.
• Board certification/eligibility in a pediatric or medical specialty is highly desired.
• A minimum of about 10 years in basic or clinical research or trials.
• Experience with data analysis, biostatistics, GCP, and trial design.

Responsibilities

• Lead study protocol development and key clinical documents with minimal guidance.
• Join cross-functional study execution teams to ensure efficient trial delivery.
• Contribute to regulatory submissions, safety reports, and annual updates.
• Provide scientific input to ICFs, CRFs, SAPs, CPAPs, and CSR.
• Liaise with Regulatory Affairs and Clinical Operations for trials.
