Job summary

6 Degrees Search is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist for an outpatient-focused position in the Northwest Indiana/Greater Chicagoland area. You will provide comprehensive outpatient care, perform thyroid ultrasound and FNA as needed, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-tech hospital environment.

Qualifications

• MD/DO from an accredited US medical school or international equivalent.
• Endocrinology fellowship; board certified or eligible.
• Active Indiana medical license or eligible within 90–120 days.
• Patient-centered, compassionate approach to complex endocrine care.

Responsibilities

• Outpatient evaluation and management of adult endocrine disorders.
• Thyroid ultrasound and fine-needle aspiration (FNA) as indicated.
• Collaborate with PCPs, surgeons, bariatric specialists, and diabetes educators.
• Utilize EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements.
• Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and quality initiatives.
• Foster long-term provider–patient relationships with individualized care plans.
