Job summary

Northwest Indiana Healthcare System in the Greater Chicagoland Area seeks a Board Certified or Eligible Endocrinologist to join a physician-led group. You will lead outpatient endocrine care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and utilize modern AI-enhanced EPIC EHR.

The role offers a busy clinical practice, strong work-life balance, and opportunities to tailor your panel to clinical interests in a HIMSS Level VII setting.

Qualifications

MD or DO trained in Endocrinology with fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism.
Board Certification or Board Eligible in Endocrinology and Indiana license or eligible.
Strong interest in complex endocrinology and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and management for adult endocrine disorders.
Perform thyroid ultrasound and FNA when indicated.
Collaborate with primary care, surgeons, bariatric specialists, and diabetes educators.
Use EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements.
Participate in multidisciplinary conferences and quality initiatives.
Build long-term provider-patient relationships with individualized care plans.
