Job summary

Northwest Indiana Health System in the Greater Chicagoland Area is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist for a busy outpatient practice. The role focuses on outpatient evaluation and management of adult endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, and metabolic health, with a collaborative care

Qualifications

• Graduate of US medical school or international equivalent (MD/DO).
• Fellowship-trained in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Metabolism; Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology.
• Active and unrestricted Indiana medical license (or eligible within 90–120 days).
• Strong interest in managing complex endocrinology with a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient evaluation, diagnosis, and ongoing management for adult endocrine disorders.
• Perform thyroid ultrasound and fine-needle aspirations (FNA) as clinically indicated.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary network of PCPs, surgeons, bariatric specialists, and diabetes educators.
• Utilize EPIC EHR with AI-driven documentation enhancements.
• Participate in multidisciplinary case conferences and health system quality improvement initiatives.
• Foster strong, long-term provider-patient relationships through individualized care planning.
