Job summary

HCA Florida North Florida Hospital in Gainesville is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator Endo to lead unit-based nursing care during the shift. You will oversee admission/discharge coordination, monitor patient outcomes, and collaborate with management to improve service delivery.

The CNC will supervise staff, participate in interviewing and training, manage scheduling, and support inventory and supplies. RN certification and license required, with BLS and NCI within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 90 days of employment start date.
• RN (Registered Nurse) with RN Diploma/licensure.
• No Travel Required.
• 1 year of RN experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in the unit.
• Collaborates with other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Supports nursing strategies such as employee rounds and hourly rounds to improve engagement.
• Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff and staff development.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Supports inventory control and equipment management.
