Job summary

Ascentek in Minnesota is seeking an IT Support Specialist to provide Tier 1–2 hardware, software, network, and application support across office, warehouse, and manufacturing environments.

You will manage end-user devices, Entra ID, AD, MDM (Intune), and deployments, participate in projects, and share knowledge through SOPs. A Bachelor’s in IT or equivalent, plus MSP experience, is preferred; certification a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting Windows and macOS devices.
• Familiarity with mobile devices and SaaS environments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 IT support for hardware, software, network, and applications.
• Respond to incidents and service requests via ITSM platform while meeting SLA.
• Support Windows devices, Mac, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, printers, and business apps.
• Manage device lifecycle: provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Assist with AD/Entra ID, file shares, networking, and Teams Rooms systems.
• Create SOPs and technical documentation; participate in projects and upgrades.
• Provide end-user training on best practices and security awareness.
• Participate in on-call rotations and after-hours support.
