Job summary

Minco Products, Inc. in Fridley, MN is seeking an IT support professional focused on device deployment and end-user support. You will lead imaging, configuration, and Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration, building standard images with Intune and Autopilot, and enrolling devices into Entra ID.

You’ll also manage device lifecycle, assist with data migration to OneDrive/Microsoft 365, and document procedures for repeatable IT tasks. Strong communication and manufacturing-floor awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience.
• 2+ years in IT support, help desk, or desktop support.
• Hands-on experience deploying, imaging, or configuring Windows desktops and laptops.
• Working knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 applications.
• Working knowledge of workstation hardware, printers, and peripherals.
• Basic TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and wireless connectivity knowledge.
• Ability to research unfamiliar software independently and document findings clearly.
• Strong written communication skills for technical documentation.
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Desktop and laptop deployment including imaging and configuration.
• Migrate from Windows 10 to Windows 11; assess readiness, schedule upgrades, provide post-upgrade support.
• Create and deploy standard Windows 11 images using Intune and Autopilot.
• Enroll devices through Autopilot and Entra ID join.
• Manage workstation lifecycle: setup, refreshes, decommissioning, asset accuracy.
• Migrate user data and configure OneDrive/MS 365 on new devices.
• Document legacy apps installation procedures, prerequisites, licensing, and config requirements.
• Create runbooks, guides, and knowledge base articles for repeatable IT procedures.
• Provide on-site and remote end-user support for hardware/software issues.
