Job summary

AISIN North Carolina is seeking an IT Desktop Support Specialist to provide end-user IT support for servers, desktops, printers, and network devices. The role includes software deployments, security updates, and ticket-based service delivery.

The candidate should have 0–2 years in IT, strong customer service, and relevant certifications (MCSE, A+, Network+). On-site work in Durham, NC is required, with occasional travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• MCSE, CompTIA A+, Network+ or equivalent certifications preferred.
• 0–2 years IT or related experience with end-user support expected.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain servers, desktops, printers, routers, switches, firewalls, phones, smartphones, software deployment, and security updates and patches.
• Review action requests, resolve IT service tickets, and document resolutions.
• Support LANs, WANs, network segments, internet and intranet systems.
• Maintain network and system security at the end-user interface point.
• Ensure network connectivity across LAN/WAN and communicate with IT leadership.
• Coordinate equipment repair with service vendors to minimize downtime.
• Provide installation, configuration, and maintenance of software and hardware for end users.
• Ensure all tickets are completed within designated timeframes.
• Maintain high service delivery metrics and positive user feedback.
• Maintain relationships with vendors to ensure efficient service delivery.
