Job summary

Steel Dynamics is seeking an IT Support professional responsible for maintaining end-user computing environments, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues, and delivering reliable technology services to users.

You will set up devices for new hires, assist with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration, deploy and replace IT equipment, and maintain documentation and inventory.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Information Systems or a related field, or 3 years of IT support experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide troubleshooting for hardware, software, peripherals, and network connectivity.
• Escalate complex issues to IT team or vendors as needed.
• Set up user accounts, computers, phones, and equipment for new employees.
• Assist with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 administration.
• Deploy, replace, and maintain IT equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory of IT equipment.
• Assist with IT projects and technology initiatives.
• Follow IT security policies and best practices.
