Job summary

Steel Dynamics, Inc. is seeking an IT Support professional to maintain end-user computing environments, deploy equipment, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across the organization.

You will work closely with users and IT staff to deliver reliable technology services, assist with AD/365 administration, and support IT security policies while contributing to project initiatives and maintaining accurate asset documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 3 years IT support experience required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Strong time management, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Must be able to lift 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, peripherals, network connectivity, and other IT-related issues, escalating complex issues to appropriate IT team members or vendors when necessary.
• Set up user accounts, computers, phones, and other equipment for new employees.
• Assist with Active Directory and Microsoft 365 user and device administration.
• Deploy, replace, and maintain IT equipment.
• Maintain accurate documentation and inventory of IT equipment.
• Assist with IT projects and technology initiatives as needed.
• Follow established IT security policies, procedures, and best practices.

Performs computer deployments, equipment replacements, system imaging, incident response, and routine maintenance activities. Works closely with users and IT staff to deliver reliable technology services and improve system performance.
