Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply, part of the Sonepar family, seeks an Automation Sales Specialist – End User to grow key accounts and lead automation opportunities. You will align customer challenges with PLCs, HMIs, drives, and networking solutions, while collaborating with sales teams and engineering to deliver value.

The role requires 5+ years in industrial automation sales, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and strong consultative selling skills to drive growth and customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years in industrial automation sales or similar roles with exposure to plant engineering or operations.
• Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems and control architectures.
• Proven consultative selling and relationship management across multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop End User accounts and grow relationships with industrial clients.
• Lead solution-based sales by mapping challenges to PLCs, HMIs, drives, and networking solutions.
• Identify, qualify, and progress automation opportunities with cross-functional teams.
• Partner with existing sales reps to support End User accounts and growth.
• Stay informed on industry trends and client challenges to strengthen value messaging.
