Job summary

Crawford Electric Supply in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is seeking an Automation Sales Support specialist to assist in opportunity research, quotes, and proposal preparation. You will gain exposure to automation system architectures while supporting application engineers and the sales team.

The role involves customer meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations to understand OEM and End User needs. A bachelor’s degree and interest in industrial automation are required, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, technology, or business.
1–3 years in industrial, technical, or commercial roles; internship/co-op in engineering or automation is a plus.
Interest in industrial automation and willingness to learn PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and related concepts.

Responsibilities

Assist Automation Sales Specialists with opportunity research, quoting coordination, and proposal prep.
Support Application Engineers with product selection, documentation, and system architectures exposure.
Participate in customer meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations to learn OEM and End User needs.
Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and partners to support automation opportunities.
Engage in internal/external training to build knowledge of industrial automation products and sales processes.
Support market research, competitive analysis, and internal reporting.
