Job summary

Lexar in San Jose, CA seeks an experienced events leader to own North America trade shows, experiential programs, and executive-facing events across business units. You will translate business priorities into a coordinated calendar, drive on-site execution, and manage post-event follow-ups with a focus on budget discipline and measurable outcomes.

You will partner with the PR agency and internal teams to align messaging, coordinate media moments, and ensure consistency with global direction.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years in events, trade shows, experiential marketing, or related roles; PR/communications experience is a plus.
• Strong project management skills - run multiple events and manage timelines and stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with trade shows and event execution, including vendors and on-site logistics.
• Track record of turning business priorities into clear event strategies, plans, timelines, and measurable outcomes.
• Working knowledge of PR and media relations, with external agency collaboration.
• Experience owning multiple trade shows or events from planning through post-event follow-up.
• Strong vendor and agency management skills; able to brief partners and ensure quality and execution.
• Comfortable budgeting, contracts, and spend tracking in partnership with stakeholders.
• Experience coaching or managing people; collaborate with global/HQ stakeholders.
• Comfortable using AI tools to improve efficiency and quality, applied thoughtfully.
• Strong executive-level communication and organizational instincts under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Set event strategy and maintain alignment with business priorities across North America.
• Own trade show and event program end to end: strategy, planning, logistics, sponsorships, booth execution, staffing, and on-site participation.
• Lead post-event debriefs, capture results, and drive follow-up actions.
• Partner with PR and media teams; coordinate opportunities linked to launches and milestones.
• Manage event vendors and agency partners, track spend, and report variances to stakeholders.
• Lead the Events & Media Coordinator; coach growth and manage performance reviews.
