Job summary

Surge AI is hiring a Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring across engineering, research, product and partnerships. You’ll source, screen, schedule and close top candidates with autonomy and urgency.

You’ll work directly with hiring managers to shape roles to market reality, move quickly when strong candidates appear, and fix bottlenecks in the process. This role offers a lot of freedom and a high bar for the work.

Qualifications

• Strong track record closing candidates in competitive markets.
• Technical recruiting experience is a big plus.
• Ability to work with little structure or direction.
• Excellent writing skills that candidates notice.
• Ability to run several searches concurrently with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Full-cycle searches, technical and non-technical: sourcing, screens, scheduling, closing.
• Own your searches end to end with autonomy and urgency.
• Source creatively to find candidates who aren’t applying, and get their attention.
• Work directly with hiring managers to shape roles to market reality and timelines.
• Improve processes to remove bottlenecks and speed hires.
