Job summary

HITACHI ENERGY USA INC. in Raleigh, NC, seeks a Payroll Specialist to manage end-to-end US payroll processing and ensure compliance across federal, state, and local regulations.

You will handle data flow between Workday and ADP GlobalView for weekly and semi-monthly cycles, including off-cycle payments, while partnering with HR and Finance to ensure accurate employee data. Applicants should have 5+ years of payroll experience, expertise in ADP GV, Workday, and strong Excel skills, with CPP

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, HR, or related field preferred.
• 5+ years of payroll processing experience required.
• Strong knowledge of US federal and state payroll regulations and taxes.

Responsibilities

• Execute weekly and semi-monthly payrolls, including off-cycle runs.
• Manage Workday-ADP GlobalView data flow and integration.
• Collaborate with HR, Finance, and leadership on payroll data.
• Prepare payroll reports and assist year-end filings (W-2).
• Audit payroll data for accuracy and compliance.
