Job summary

RGP is seeking a Payroll Specialist to manage payroll for about 1,800 employees across North America, handling high-volume weekly cycles and utilizing ADP Vantage. This role supports US and Canadian payroll with a strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of payroll experience, excels at reconciling data, and communicates effectively with HR and Finance. A hybrid/remote work setup is available, with year-end activities and regulatory reporting included.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of payroll experience
• Hands-on expertise with ADP Vantage
• Experience processing U.S. payroll, with working knowledge of Canadian payroll regulations
• Strong attention to detail and ability to audit, reconcile, and resolve payroll discrepancies
• Knowledge of federal, state, provincial, and local payroll laws
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-service mindset

Responsibilities

• Process multiple weekly payrolls across hourly and salary populations (including Canada)
• Utilize ADP Vantage to manage payroll transactions, updates, earnings, deductions, taxes, and reporting
• Review payroll data for accuracy and resolve discrepancies
• Ensure compliance with payroll regulations across jurisdictions
• Partner with HR, Finance and stakeholders on payroll-impacting lifecycle changes
• Prepare payroll reports, reconciliations and supporting documentation for requirements
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding pay, deductions, taxes and processes
• Support year-end payroll activities, audits and regulatory reporting
• Recommend process improvements to maintain efficient payroll operations
