ABS Compounding in Ravenna, OH, is seeking a Logistics Specialist to own the full order-to-delivery cycle, coordinating with customers, production, warehouse, and transport providers. The role requires strong SAP experience, Excel proficiency, and collaboration across departments.

The ideal candidate will manage international shipments, ensure on-time delivery, and support process improvements while working a daytime, on-site schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, order management, transportation coordination, or a related role.
• Background in manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities across internal departments and external partners.
• SAP or comparable ERP experience.
• Experience with international shipping and export documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field.
• Forklift certification and Lean/Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Receive, enter, and maintain customer purchase orders in SAP across the full order-to-delivery cycle.
• Coordinate shipment scheduling with transportation providers and 3PL partners; track shipments and communicate delivery updates.
• Monitor order status and serve as the primary communication point for customers and internal teams.
• Verify inventory availability and coordinate product shipments to meet customer requirements.
• Prepare and process shipping and logistics invoices; review transportation and vendor invoices for accuracy.
• Prepare export documentation for international shipments including commercial invoices and shipping instructions.
• Resolve customer inquiries related to orders, deliveries, inventory availability, and billing.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics and customer service processes.
