Job summary

Mondi plc is hiring an HR Admin & Payroll Specialist to deliver end-to-end payroll, HR administration and recruitment support in Birmingham, Alabama. You will ensure employee data, payments and records are accurate, approved and auditable.

Key responsibilities include processing weekly and monthly payrolls, handling pensions and statutory deductions, managing recruitment lifecycle from vacancy to onboarding, and maintaining confidential employee information across core HR systems such as

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end payroll, HR admin and recruitment support.
• Proficient with payroll controls, data accuracy and confidential records.
• Familiarity with OneAdvanced, Flexipay, SAP SuccessFactors or similar HR systems.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time.
• Administer payroll elements, pensions, statutory payments and deductions.
• Coordinate recruitment from adverts through onboarding and pre-employment checks.
• Maintain employee records and manage pre-employment checks and onboarding.
• Support HR administration and respond to employee queries with audit-ready records.
