Job summary

DPR Construction in Virginia is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead complex projects from planning through delivery. You will manage project engineers and assistants, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure safety, schedule, and budget targets are met.

The role emphasizes mentorship, risk management, and proactive stakeholder communication to deliver high-quality results for our clients.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or related field.
7 years of experience in construction engineering, project engineering, or related field.
OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification preferred; OSHA 30 program completion within 6 months of hire is required.

Responsibilities

Leads, manages, and develops a team of construction project individuals by establishing expectations and supporting development plans.
Oversees end-to-end project execution by collaborating with project teams and addressing escalated issues.
Oversees procurement of materials, equipment, and subs; ensures timely delivery and alignment with project sequences.
Communicates project status, risks, and changes to stakeholders.
Evaluates project performance and implements corrective actions.
Reviews comprehensive project documentation for compliance and future reference.
Partners with the Superintendent to lead implementation of quality and safety programs.
