Job summary

State Street is seeking an Encryption-as-a-Service Platform Engineer to advance enterprise encryption and key management across cloud and on‑prem environments. You will design, implement, integrate, and support secure services, collaborating with application, infrastructure, and platform teams to drive adoption and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Cybersecurity/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years in cybersecurity, infra/cloud/platform engineering, or related fields.
• Experience with encryption, key management, secrets, and cloud security.
• Familiarity with AWS/Azure/GCP or similar clouds.
• Scripting and automation: Python/PowerShell/Bash; REST APIs; IaC tooling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support enterprise encryption and key management services across cloud and on‑prem environments.
• Onboard new use cases and integrate centralized encryption into business solutions.
• Design self‑service capabilities, automation, and runbooks for operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with stakeholders, monitor performance, and resolve issues promptly.
