Job summary

Goode Company in Houston, TX is seeking a Kitchen Prep team member for the Enchilada station at River Oaks. The role focuses on specialized production, precise portioning, and maintaining recipe standards in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include setup, cooking, monitoring quality, and proper sanitation. Part-time position with benefits eligibility and team discounts. Prior station experience preferred and a Food Handler Certification is required.

Qualifications

• Relevant restaurant or food-production experience; specialty-station experience is preferred.
• Ability to learn and repeat detailed recipes, techniques, portions, and quality standards.
• Strong organization, sanitation, urgency, and communication.
• Food Handler Certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, finish, or portion assigned specialty items to recipe and quality standards.
• Set station pars, complete production lists, and maintain readiness for service.
• Monitor texture, flavor, temperature, presentation, yield, and product rotation.
• Use assigned tools and equipment safely and maintain them in clean working conditions.
• Communicate shortages, quality concerns, timing issues, and waste promptly.
• Complete setup, sanitation, breakdown, labeling, and closing work thoroughly.
