Job summary

Catalent is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic, Encapsulation at our Winchester, KY site. You will maintain process and utility equipment and building systems for encapsulation, support installation and qualification of new equipment, and perform preventive maintenance. The role requires coordination with leadership and meticulous documentation.

Shift 6 PM - 6 AM, 2-2-3, 100% onsite. You will troubleshoot PLC/electrical systems, manage spare parts, and ensure compliance with PM procedures while

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years in pharma/food/chemical manufacturing as a maintenance technician.
• Experience with PM programs for production, utility, and building systems.
• Able to troubleshoot pneumatic and electronic control systems and PLC-based systems.
• Familiar with test equipment like multimeters, temp probes, pneumatic calibrators.
• Able to read electrical drawings, system drawings, panel layouts, and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Support installation, qualification, and operation of new equipment.
• Set up encapsulation machines and manage spare parts.
• Develop preventive maintenance procedures and update spare parts lists.
• Perform systematic preventive maintenance following best practices.
• Provide quick and effective repairs as needed.
• Communicate maintenance status to Leadership and Operations.
• Document work using electronic work order and calibration databases.
• Perform additional duties to support high performance.
