Catalent in Manassas, VA is seeking a Process Technician to operate production lines, perform equipment setups, and ensure adherence to cGMP and SOPs. You will help reduce variability, minimize downtime, and support continuous improvement projects on a 6am–6:30pm shift, onsite at the Manassas facility.

The role emphasizes uptime, quality output, and collaboration with engineers and operators to troubleshoot issues and document daily activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical problems.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
• Understanding of equipment used in manufacturing.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, operators, customers, staff.
• Ability to provide detailed documentation of daily activities.
• Ability to use calibrated measurement tools.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Performing setup and alignment tasks on equipment and machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate production line to maximize production with high-quality output.
• Follow standardized work to perform equipment setups and manage change parts.
• Follow cGMP and SOP regulations.
• Perform detailed cleaning of change parts using various cleaning solutions.
• Complete daily task documentation accurately.
• Monitor change part parameters per manufacturer specs.
• Provide technical troubleshooting for alignment, production, and setup issues.
• Provide data and possible solutions for setup-related process requests.
• Collaborate with team to support cross-functional efforts.
• Manage setup schedule to minimize downtime.
• Support safety culture and hazard countermeasures.
