Job summary

WinCup is hiring a Maintenance Mechanic I for the Mount Sterling, OH facility. The role focuses on troubleshooting and maintenance of production and packaging equipment to keep operations running at peak efficiency.

The position requires a high sense of urgency, strong mechanical aptitude, and at least two years of maintenance experience in manufacturing. On-site work with comprehensive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Two years maintenance in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills; ability to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Performs timely mechanical checks on all assigned equipment to ensure proper adjustments are maintained.
• Maintains established cycle settings on assigned machines to ensure production quality with minimal scrap.
• Comply with safety rules and perform LOTO of production equipment when required.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform adjustments.
• Respond to alarms with urgency to prevent production interruption.
• Perform quality tests on bags, film, print, and packaging to inspect defects; document findings.
• Inform leadership immediately of any failure to meet quality standards.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area and equipment at all times.
• Support SQF-related facility repairs within scope.
