Beth Israel Lahey Health in Massachusetts is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to respond to non-emergent and emergent transport requests, provide BLS care, and ensure safe patient transfer within hospital and pre-hospital settings. This role offers a $4,000 sign-on bonus paid in three installments.

The EMT will follow state laws, complete PCRs, maintain vehicle readiness, and collaborate with hospital staff and EMS partners.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current MA Basic EMT Certification and BLS certification.
• Experience with computer systems and basic Office apps.

Mansioni

• Responds promptly to emergency and non-emergency calls as directed by dispatch.
• Follows MA laws for emergency vehicle operation; parks appropriately.
• Completes PCR documentation and vehicle/equipment checklists.
• Maintains vehicle readiness and reports equipment issues.
• Provides EMT-B level pre-hospital care and accurate radio reports.
• Cross-trained to assist in the Emergency Department as needed.
