Job summary

UCHealth Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo, CO is seeking an Emergency Room EMT to provide emergent patient care under physician and nurse direction. This is an onsite PRN role with flex shift and pay $18.40-$27.60 per hour, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities include establishing IV access, specimen collection, wound care, ECGs and telemetry monitoring, assisting with procedures, and maintaining patient flow and room readiness.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED is required.
• Current State Licensure as an EMT with IV certification, or EMT-I.
• BLS through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer, valid through start date.

Responsibilities

• Establish IV access, collect specimens, provide wound care, and transport patients.
• May perform ECGs and vital statistics/telemetry monitoring.
• Assist physicians and nurses with medical procedures and resuscitation.
• Maintain patient flow and keep rooms clean, stocked, and orderly.
• Work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
