Job summary

UCHealth is seeking a PRN Emergency Medical Technician to support the PVH ER in Fort Collins, CO. You will provide emergent patient care under physician and nursing supervision, perform IV access, specimen collection, wound care, ECGs, and patient transport.

You will join a team that values quick thinking, decisive action, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. BLS/EMT certifications are required, with licensure maintained and ongoing professional growth encouraged.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required with EMT licensure.
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• EMT with IV certification or EMT-I eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergent/urgent patient care under supervision.
• Perform procedures like establishing IVs, specimen collection, wound care, transport.
• Assist with ECGs and telemetry monitoring as needed.
• Support physicians and nurses during exams, procedures, and resuscitation.
• Report changes in patient condition to medical staff; maintain patient flow and room readiness.
