Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to provide Basic Life Support (BLS) for emergency and non-emergency transport. This role requires NJ EMT certification, a valid driver's license, and AHA BLS certification.

You will respond to calls, coordinate with public safety, and document patient care reports. The EMT will operate EMS vehicles safely, perform patient assessments, and comply with NJ regulations and HMH policies while serving Middlesex,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current NJ EMT certification or National Registry EMT (EMT-B) is required.
• AHA BLS Health Care Provider certification is required.
• Valid Driver's License from a USA state is required.
• CEVO EVOC training within 90 days of hire is required.

Responsibilities

• Responds to calls in a timely manner.
• Provides pre-hospital Basic Life Support and communicates with medical control.
• Completes patient care reports and handoffs to receiving providers.
• Operates EMS vehicles safely and maintains equipment and vehicle readiness.
• Ensures compliance with NJ regulations and HMH policies.
