Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health Inc. is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Edison, New Jersey. The EMT will provide Basic Life Support (BLS) services during both emergency and non-emergency situations. Must possess a valid NJ EMT certification and AHA BLS certification, along with excellent communication skills and proficient computer skills. This role entails responsibilities involving patient transportation and care coordination with other emergency services.

Qualifications

• Current NJ Emergency Medical Technician certification or NREMT-EMT Basic certification.
• AHA Basic Life Support Health Care Provider Certification or BLS Instructor Certification.
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provide Basic Life Support services for emergency and non-emergency requests.
• Complete patient care reports for each patient.
• Drive an emergency vehicle in compliance with applicable regulations.

Skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Google Suite)

Education

High School diploma or GED

ICS-100 and ICS-200 training

NIMS training
