Qualifications

• Requires Kansas EMT certification and licensure.
• Must complete ACLS, PALS, and BLS within 3 months of hire.
• Demonstrates ability to perform advanced airway management and EKG placement.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with teams in EMS environments.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care within EMT scope of practice.
• Supports partner in pre-hospital and inter-facility settings.
• Maintains ambulances and equipment; participates in care of facilities.
• Documents accurately the electronic medical record.
• Manages multi-casualty scenes and prioritizes tasks.
