McPherson Hospital, Inc. is seeking a Paramedic to lead and deliver direct patient care within their scope of practice in pre-hospital and inter-facility transfer settings.

The role requires independent work, prioritization, and collaboration with partners, including shift coordination and maintaining EMS readiness. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, HSA, FSA, retirement plan, earned time off, and wellness facilities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Kansas Certified Paramedic.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS within 3 months of hire.
• NIMS/ISC 100, 200, 700, 800.
• Valid Driver’s License with clean record.
• 1–2 years EMS experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs ALS skills including airway management, IV/IO, meds, 4-Lead and 12-Lead EKG, defibrillation and pacing.
• Leads and supports partner to maintain an effective EMS team.
• Works independently on multi-casualty scenes with organized workflow.
• Documents electronic medical records accurately and timely.
• Participates in routine shift duties and reviews patient care reports.
• Maintains professional image and community relationships.
