McPherson Hospital, Inc. in McPherson, KS is seeking an EMS Lieutenant to lead and provide direct patient care within their scope of practice, independently and with a partner, in pre-hospital and inter-facility transfers.

The role includes planning shift assignments, supervising staff, and maintaining high patient satisfaction. You will maintain facilities, equipment and ambulances, document electronic medical records accurately, and collaborate with EMS, hospital staff and public safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Kansas Certified Paramedic.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS within 3 months of hire.
• NIMS/ISC 100, 200, 300, 700, 800.
• Valid Driver’s License with minimal violation history.

Responsabilités

• Leads and provides direct patient care within scope of practice; supports partner in pre-hospital and inter-facility transfers.
• Plans shift assignments, supervises shift personnel, ambulance response and station activities.
• Maintains facilities, equipment, and ambulances.
• Documents electronic medical records accurately and timely.
• Performs in routine shift duties to support EMS personnel and hospital staff.
• Reviews patient care reports to ensure completeness and accuracy.
