Job summary
Superior Ambulance is hiring EMTs and Paramedics to provide high-quality patient care during transport across multiple Illinois locations. You will assess patients, administer care within your scope, and communicate conditions to healthcare teams.
Roles include safe vehicle operation, documentation, and potential overtime. A valid EMT/Paramedic license and driver’s license with a clean driving record are required. Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities are offered.
Qualifications
- EMT/Paramedic license required (NREMT or state).
- Ability to provide medical care at EMT/Paramedic level while transporting patients.
- Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care per EMT training.
- Safely transport patients and navigate streets accurately.
- Communicate patient condition to medical staff and document treatments.
- Complete written reports for medical history and care provided.
- Document billing information for services.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and monitor fluids/gauges.
