Job summary
Superior Ambulance Service is hiring EMTs and Paramedics to provide qualified medical care and safe patient transport across multiple Illinois locations. Openings exist in Elmhurst, Oak Lawn, Markham, Chicago (IL Medical District & Chicago North), Des Plaines, Green Oaks, Schaumburg, Aurora, Elgin, Cary, Joliet, Evanston, Rockford, Grayslake, and more.

Qualifications
- NREMT or current state license (or pending).
- Ability to provide medical care at EMT/Paramedic level while transporting patients.
- Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; able to operate a vehicle in daytime, nighttime and inclement weather.
- Pass a pre-employment interview including a physical and lifting exam, drug screen, and background check.
- Attend company-provided training and driving course.
Responsibilities
- Provide appropriate patient care as stipulated in EMT training.
- Provide safe transportation and accurate handling of map-reading and addresses.
- Assess patient and convey condition to other medical professionals.
- Prepare an accurate written report of patient condition, medical history, and treatment.
- Provide documentation for billing information.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and monitor fluids and gauges.
