Job summary
Superior Ambulance Service is hiring EMTs and Paramedics to join its growing Midwest fleet across multiple Illinois locations including Chicago, Des Plaines, Schaumburg and more. You'll provide safe patient transport, deliver high-quality care and document medical histories and treatments in accordance with EMS regulations.

Qualifications
- NREMT or current state license (or pending).
- Ability to provide medical care at EMT/Paramedic level while safely transporting patients.
- Valid drivers license and satisfactory driving record.
- Pass a pre-employment interview including a physical and lifting exam, drug screen, and background check.
- Attend company provided training and driving course.
Responsibilities
- Provide patient care per EMT training.
- Safely transport patients; read maps and addresses quickly.
- Assess patients and communicate conditions to medical staff.
- Write clear reports of patient condition, history, and treatment.
- Document billing information accurately.
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness and monitor fluids/gauges.
