Job summary

Superior Ambulance Service, Inc. in Illinois is seeking EMTs and Paramedics to join a large, expanding EMS provider across multiple locations including Oak Lawn.

You will deliver emergency medical care and safe transport, while documenting patient conditions and treatments for clinical teams. Qualifications

• EMT or Paramedic license required or pending.
• Ability to provide medical care at EMT/Paramedic level during transport.
• Must have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Pass pre-employment interview, physical and lifting exam, drug screen, and background check.
• Attend company training and driving course.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care as stipulated in training as an EMT.
• Provide safe transportation with correct addressing and map reading.
• Assess patient and convey condition to medical professionals.
• Provide written report describing patient condition, history and treatment.
• Provide documentation for billing information.
• Maintain vehicle sanitation and monitor fluids and gauges.
