Job summary

Superior Ambulance Service in Illinois is seeking EMTs and Paramedics to deliver high-quality patient care and safe transportation across multiple stations in the Midwest. You will assess patients, document care, and coordinate with medical staff during emergencies and scheduled transports.

Qualifications

• NREMT or current state EMT/Paramedic license.
• Ability to provide medical care, at EMT/Paramedic level, while safely transporting patients.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Pass a pre-employment interview including a physical and lifting examination, drug screen, and background check.
• Attend company provided training and driving course.

Responsibilities

• Provide appropriate patient care as stipulated in their training as an EMT.
• Provide safe transportation, including accurate map reading and identifying addresses.
• Assess a patient and convey the condition to other medical professionals.
• Provide an accurate written report describing patient condition, medical history, and treatment.
• Provide documentation for billing information.
• Maintain the vehicle in sanitary condition and monitor all fluid levels and gauges.
