Job summary

Medcor is hiring an EMT or Paramedic on an as‑needed (PRN) basis to serve as an Onsite Health Technician at our construction‑site clinic in Yerington, NV. Hours are Monday‑Saturday 7 am‑5 pm, with hours possibly adjusted by client needs. Qualified candidates may receive per‑diem compensation.

The role involves patient care, screenings, EMR documentation, and collaboration with the client’s workforce. Prior EMS experience and state licensure are required, with CPR/BLS certification a must.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid licensure for the applied position.
• Must possess current CPR/BLS certification.
• Must be physically capable of lifting a 50 lb emergency‑response bag.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Document care using EMR and other tools.
• Perform Physical Assessment Testing (PATs).
• Manage cases and chart medical information.
• Maintain OSHA records.

• Assess and treat workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence‑Based Medicine protocols, known as the Medcor Care Protocols (MCPs).
• Build and maintain internal team relationships.
• Support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
• Perform pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings.
• Document care using state‑of‑the‑art EMR and other tools.
• Perform Physical Assessment Testing (PATs).
• Manage cases.
• Chart medically.
• Maintain OSHA records.
