Job summary

Job description

Overview

Medcor is seeking a full‑time EMT or Paramedic to serve as Clinic Manager at our construction site clinic in Yerington, NV. Hours are Monday–Friday 7:00 am–3:00 pm, with potential weekend shifts as required.

Per diem of $140 per day for those who qualify.

Responsibilities
  • Provide oversight and support of clinic workflows, logistics, and scheduling.
  • Manage clinic operations and patient care, including workers’ compensation case management, return‑to‑work program support, treatment plan monitoring, and OSHA record keeping.
  • Work collaboratively with key client stakeholders—health, safety, environmental, HR, and benefits— as well as medical and operational leadership at Medcor.
  • Administer and manage health service functions and daily clinic operations.
  • Provide superior customer service to Medcor’s client and employees.
  • Assessment and treatment of workplace injuries and illnesses according to Medcor’s Evidence Based Medicine protocols (Medcor Care Protocols).
  • Build and maintain internal team relationships and support onsite employee health and wellness efforts.
  • Collaborate with client human resources, benefits professionals, and health, safety and environmental professionals on clinic issues.
  • Document and manage information using electronic medical records software and other tools.
  • Conduct pre‑employment and post‑offer screenings, physical assessment testing (PATs), and case management.
  • Maintain OSHA record‑keeping.
Qualifications
  • Operate and support a clinic team as a leader.
  • Valid licensure for the position (EMT or Paramedic) and current CPR/BLS certification.
  • Strong computer and technology skills, with familiarity with EMR software.
  • Physical ability to lift a 50‑lb emergency response bag.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Positive, outgoing personality and willingness to go above and beyond.
  • Passion for people and commitment to high‑quality care.
  • Ability to have fun in the workplace.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Comfortable working in a construction environment.
  • Relevant occupational health experience.
  • Experience in emergency medicine or critical care.
