Qualifications

• EMT work experience is required and beneficial.
• Proficiency with EMS tech and equipment is preferred.
• Basic computer/documentation skills for electronic records.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and provide BLS interventions (CPR, oxygen delivery, bleeding control, splinting, vital signs).
• Assist Paramedics by preparing equipment and performing delegated tasks during ALS calls.
• Monitor patient condition during transport and relay updates to receiving facility.
• Complete accurate electronic documentation of care and interactions.
• Operate ambulance safely following driving standards and regulations.
• Maintain ambulance and equipment readiness through inspections and restocking.
• Perform stretcher operations and secure equipment for safe transport.
• Participate in training and quality improvement activities to maintain EMT proficiency.
