Job summary

Coho Integrated Solutions is seeking exceptional EMT Instructors to train and mentor Sailors in EMT disciplines for the Navy Medicine Training Support Command program at Fort Sam Houston, Texas.

Responsibilities include delivering clear objectives, employing varied teaching styles, administering exams, and evaluating student progress; candidates must have EMT certification, BLS Instructor cert or ability to obtain it within 30 days, ITC within past five years, and 5–7 years of instructional

Qualifications

• Possess an active EMT certification.
• BLS Instructor certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
• Instructor Training Course (ITC) completed within the past five years; mandatory.
• Minimum of five (5) years of recent direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide clear course objectives and classroom expectations; ensure content and objectives are met.
• Utilize diverse teaching styles to accommodate learner needs.
• Administer and proctor examinations with integrity.
• Diagnose and evaluate student progress in a timely manner.
• Create a conducive classroom environment and maintain engagement.
• Provide regular progress reports on student performance.
