Northwest Medical Center Sahuarita in Sahuarita, AZ is seeking an EMT I to provide basic emergency medical care and transportation under supervision of a Paramedic or clinical leader. You will maintain equipment, document patient information, and support team safety in the EMS department.

This full-time night shift role requires completing a state-approved EMT program, knowledge of EMS protocols, and strong communication with patients and medical staff.

Qualifications

• Technical EMT training program completion required.
• EMT Advanced course preferred.
• Hospital ED or EMS environment experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide basic emergency medical care per state scope and policies.
• Assist with patient assessment, vital signs, and care under supervision.
• Administer CPR and first aid; manage wounds, bleeding, fractures, and breathing as assigned.
• Safely operate emergency vehicles per policy and traffic laws.
• Conduct shift start checks of vehicles/equipment for readiness.
