Job summary

Mercy Lebanon is seeking a full-time EMT to perform direct patient care, assessment, and basic life support in line with Mercy Health System goals. The role may include clerical, dispatch, and maintenance duties as needed.

Licensure: EMT license for the employed state and a valid driver's license; pre-employment and ongoing fitness for duty tests are required. Required certifications include Hazmat Awareness, BLS for Healthcare Providers, and NIMS 100/200/700/800 within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Direct patient care including assessment, evaluation and basic life support.
• Must have EMT license for the state of employment and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care and assessment as part of EMS.
• Operate under EMS protocols and Mercy policies.
• May perform clerical, dispatch and maintenance duties as required.
• Adhere to Hazmat, BLS and NIMS certifications within required timelines.
