Job summary

Inspira Health Network in New Jersey seeks a certified Emergency Medical Technician to provide prehospital care and transport within the DEMS system and inter-facility transfers as directed.

The EMT must hold NJ DOH EMS certification, maintain BLS, and may benefit from PHTLS/PEEP; a valid NJ driver’s license is required. High school diploma or equivalent is required; prior experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Current certification as Emergency Medical Technician (NJ DOH EMS) required.
• Maintain Basic Life Support (American Heart Association).
• PHTLS and PEEP certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide prehospital care and patient transport within the DEMS system.
• Perform inter-facility transport as directed.
• Provide mutual aid assistance to adjacent services when requested.
