Job summary

Inspira Health Network in New Jersey seeks a dedicated Emergency Medical Technician to provide prehospital care and transport within the DEMS system. The EMT will assess patients of all ages and respond to emergencies, delivering evidence-based care and supporting inter-facility transfers as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified Emergency Medical Technician (NJ DOH)
• Maintain current BLS certification (AHA)
• Prefer PHTLS and PEEP certifications

Responsibilities

• Provide prehospital care and/or transport for patients with illness or injury
• Perform inter-facility transports as directed
• Assist with mutual aid when requested by adjacent services
• Assess patient status and determine age-appropriate needs
