Penn State Health Hershey Medical Center is seeking an EMT to respond to emergencies, assess patients, and provide care in compliance with PA DOH BLS standards. You will transport patients using ambulances and assist ALS providers, ensuring complete documentation.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, BLS certification, EMT eligibility in PA, and a valid PA driver’s license. EVOC and EMSVO/NIMS within defined timelines are also required.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AHA BLS certification required within 6 months.
• Eligible for Pennsylvania EMT certification.
• Valid PA driver’s license; eligible to operate an EMS vehicle.
• EVOC training within 2 months of hire.
• PA DOH EMSVO eligibility within 2 months.
• Hazmat Awareness training within 30 days; NIMS 100/200/700/800 within 30 days.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to emergencies and assess patients.
• Provide treatment in accordance with PA DOH BLS standards.
• Transport patients using ambulances and wheelchair vans.
• Assist Advance Life Support (Paramedic) providers and document care.
