Penn State Health Life Lion Lancaster is seeking an Advanced EMT to respond to emergencies, assess patients, and provide treatment in accordance with PA DOH EMT standards. You will transport patients and assist Life Lion providers, including non-emergency transports, with complete documentation.

This full-time position offers a $3,500 sign-on bonus for eligible candidates, a $2.50/hour night shift differential, and 12-hour shifts.

Competenze

• AHA BLS required within six (6) months of hire.
• Current certification as an Advanced EMT in the Commonwealth of PA or eligible for reciprocity if certified in another state.
• Valid driver's license required or eligible for a PA driver's license if out of state.
• PA DOH EMSVO certification within 30 days of start date.
• HazMat Awareness Training and NIMS (100, 200, 700, 800) required within 30 days of start date.
• Must obtain Medical Command within 90 days of start date.

Mansioni

• Respond to emergencies and assess patients.
• Provide treatment in line with PA DOH EMT curriculum and transport per established protocols.
• Assist Paramedic providers with patient care; perform non-emergency transports and complete documentation.
