Job summary

Mount Nittany Health in Pennsylvania is seeking an EMT to join the Emergency Medical Services Team. You will assist Paramedics with transports and provide quality patient care in line with state protocols and hospital standards.

Minimum qualifications include high school diploma, EMT certification, PA DOH BLS, valid driver's license, and the ability to work in high-stress conditions. Prior EMT field experience is preferred, with teamwork and strong communication essential.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completes an accredited Department of Health national standard curriculum for Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provides Basic Life Support medical treatment in pre-hospital setting per PA Statewide BLS protocols.
• Responds to emergencies and assists Paramedics with equipment and transfers.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment readiness; completes patient care reports.
• Supports daily EMS program operations and documentation.
