Job summary

Mount Nittany Health is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician to join our on-site EMS team in Pennsylvania. You will assist Paramedics with inter-facility and non-emergency transfers and provide essential patient care in line with PA EMT scopes and hospital policies.

The role requires a high school diploma, EMT certification, and the ability to work in high-stress environments. Strong teamwork, clear communication, and accurate documentation are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completes accredited Department of Health EMT certification curriculum.
• Two years post-high school EMT field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides Basic Life Support and pre-hospital care per PA Statewide BLS protocols.
• Assists Paramedics during inter-facility transports and non-emergency transfers.
• Maintains vehicle and equipment readiness; completes Patient Care Reports.
• Performs daily checks, inventory management, and documentation per program standards.
